Ready

Ready – prepared for housing suitable for the elderly is a project of the Institut Wohnen und Entwerfen (IWE) of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart. The project explores the possibilities to organize modern housing in such a way that the living space can be easily adapted to respond to changing demands of the elderly. The concept of the website is based on the three types of the ready system and provides a direct comparison of the conversion options and the crucial parameters to be observed.
